This is my first ever summary of a show where Arashi (or at least one of them) appears in, so I hope I'm doing this right. I'm really sorry for the LQ images. I blame KeyHole DX !!

I just joined the Arashi group at Facebook and was going through the topic lists when I stumbled upon that "popularity" poll that I've been hearing many times before. It's the site where you are allowed to vote everyday for your favourite Johnny and I was actually surprised by the results. I'm not exactly sure if this may be any new news to any of you, but since I haven't visited the site for awhile, I found it quite interesting as I went through the list. The poll ended by August 31st as it seems and the Poll results are as follows:

7 Ohno Satoshi

8 Jun Matsumoto

15 Kazunari Ninomiya

21 Sho Sakurai

23 Masaki Aiba

From the old polls I've participated before, Matsujun would always come on top and then Sho. Ohno would usually end up somewhere in the bottom. I'm guessing his first lead drama, Maou, really boosted his popularity and I'm glad about that. Honestly while I was watching Maou, half of my attention was to stare at Ohno whenever he came up and half was to follow the plot. (Yes, I'm an Ohno ichibanner like that XD) But I'm really glad his acting ability attracted many fans. I don't exactly know what's in Kodansha's mind right now. But just a moment ago when I was talking to another Arashi fan, I heard news that there was going to be 6 more pictures coming out today in a magazine (most possibly more scandals regarding the Arashi members or Ohno?). When I think about it, I just have to wonder 'Haven't they had enough?' It seems that these scandals or attempts of defamation comes about almost weekly ever since the very first scandal about Ohno this summer. I'm not sure if I should blame this issue due to Johnny's counterattack or defend Johnny's action because Kodansha would have done so anyways. I guess all I ask is for all these scandals to stop. I'm pretty sure it's not just me. Many people are probably sick of hearing this and I'm starting to as well. I believe firmly that none of this will affect Arashi's career. I mean, sure, the fandom might be a little a shaken, but Arashi holds too many loyal fanbases around the world that it's just impossible for them to fall. Anyways, I hope these 6 pictures which is supposedly be coming out today won't bring horrible outcomes to the fandom. Or even better, no pictures won't come out at all. Whatever happens, I'll be standing by Arashi until the end. 

If I am not mistaken, the poll has just ended in Japan a couple of minutes ago. According to the poll, Johnny has won with 3560 votes while Kodansha has 3341 votes. That's Johnny with 219 votes ahead! =) I'm extremely happy with results knowing that Oh-chan's and Arashi's fanbase is strong enough to with hold all of the tabloid lies Kodansha has created against them. And Arashi has once again survived through another scandal. This is my very first post on VOX  and I know it's extremely short so please bear with me.

EDIT: I'm still currently checking the poll results and oddly enough, even if the poll has ended, the number of votes regarding each category (especially Johnny's and Kodansha's) keeps increasing nonetheless. I'm not sure how to comment on this but I guess it's due to the fact that the poll hasn't been closed or locked yet. Hopefully this doesn't make any drastic change on the poll results but I really believe it won't due to large difference in the number of votes between Johnny's and Kodansha's. I just really wanna thank all the people who participated in the poll because every vote helped Johnny and Riida be the in the #1 spot today! =D

Okay, well I don't know how to feel, but feel a bit dumb. I just confirmed with a friend that it ends on August 31, 2008; 23:59 at Tokyo. I don't know how I somehow ended with today as the End Date. For those who have read my post so far, sorry for the confusion. m(_ _)m
